Soon after, Don and Phyllis moved to Sacramento, CA where he would serve out the remainder of his service and continue growing their family.

In 1980, Don and family moved to Farmington, NM where he opened his own barber shop and stayed in business for over 35 years.  He loved talking with his customers.
