Ferrell Harris, 52, of Upper Fruitland, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 19, 2018. He was born on May 6, 1966 in Otis, to Harold Harris, Sr. and Vena Barber. Ferrell was born to the Mexican Clan born for The Water That Flows Together Clan. Ferrell attended schools in Kirtland at Ruth N. Bond, Kirtland Middle School, Kirtland Central High School and San Juan College in Farmington. He enjoyed his time traveling, going on drives, fishing, target shooting, doing repairs on automobiles, plumbing, construction and shopping for tools.
Ferrell is preceded in death by his father Harold Harris, Sr., maternal grandparents, Tom and Marie Barber; paternal grandparents Ben H. and Betty Harris; uncles Benjamin, Dwight and Harry Harris; cousins Shawna Murphy, Anita Barber, Stephanie Hemstreet, Elvira Hemstreet, Joan Barber, Lynda Davis, Julian John, Lee Barber, Sam Barber, John Barber, Wilson Barber, Bessie Barber and Gertrude Billey. Ferrell is survived by his sons Randell and Rydell Harris; mother Vena Barber; brothers Harold Harris, Jr. Dewayne Harris; sisters Darlene Mike, Barbara Bedonie and Venita Manuelito.
There will be a viewing at 4:30pm, Thursday, August 23rd at Farmington Funeral Home in Farmington. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Friday, August 24th at Farmington Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery. A reception will be at the Upper Fruitland Desert View Church in Upper Fruitland.
