Hi My name is Miranda Smith I am the oldest daughter of Sharon Johnson. Manuel Dan was my uncle a great man I looked up too and admire the work he did for his family and his community. I remember him supporting the athletic events basketball in particular for the Kirtland Central Broncos. Him and my uncle Vernon Johnson were very silly together always teasing and laughing. But always making sure we worked hard and played hard. He was also the great man who performed CPR on my grandfather the late Morris Johnson when he went needed resuscitation 6 months ago. He never gave up and kept at trying to recover him on the ambulance but we lost him that day. Thank you Manuel, uncle for that im sure you and cheii are up there now talking about sports and the Dallas Cowboys. You will always be remembered by your family all of us cause you were always a great family man! The creator has you now continue to look upon us with ur funny grace keep us smiling. Keep your family close.I LOVE YOU UNCLE!Miranda Smith

I will cherish the memories and friendship with Manuel. The staged mine accidents and incidents for crew training were top quality and Manuels critique of the drills and followup will always be with all who were present. These memories are eternal! SEMPER FI
