Aileen Tucker

Aileen Mary Tucker, 87-year-old, passed away in her beloved home on November 30th, 2021, of natural causes. She was born to Freda and Cyril Gore in Kempston, Bedford, England on June 21, 1934. Aileen is preceded in death by her husband Harold, brother in-law Arthur Potter, grandson Neil Caryl, and her daughter-in-law Dixie Tucker.

Aileen met Harold Tucker while he was stationed in England with the US Air Force. The two decided to honor their love and wed in 1953. In 1959, they moved their family to the US. In the US, the two raised their six children together. They were married for fifty-five years.

Aileen was a bright and vibrant individual all throughout her life. She radiated love everywhere she went. Every person she encountered within her life, she made feel cherished. Aileen was very fond of baking and cooking. She hosted family meals and taught each of her daughters how to bake. She shared a multitude of happy memories with each of her grandchildren, teaching them how to make the best cookies, pies, and pastries. Aileen also enjoyed crafting and socializing at the casino.

Aileen was known to most simply as Nanny. One of her callings in this life was caring for people. She babysat grandchildren and the neighborhood children for many years. She encountered tears, shouts, and hugs beyond measure. She always encouraged the children to love one another and work out their disputes with compassion. If you were ever in need of consoling, Aileen was always there with a listening ear, kind heart, and food to warm your soul.

Aileen was a very loving woman that gave her all to everyone around her. She will always be deeply missed not only by her family, but all the individuals she met and cared for within her long, full life. Her touch on this world will continue to live on and be remembered by her family and friends. Aileen is survived by her six children, Janine and son-in-law Ken Mitchell, Gaye and son-in-law Ronnie Thompson, Kimberly and son-in-law Steven M. Fox, Kelly and son-in-law Danny Webb, Nigel Tucker, and Neil Tucker. She will also be remembered by her sister Jill Potter, niece Zona Potter, and grandchildren: Sean Thompson, Stacie Sila, Jessica Cadrain, Heather Tucker, Desmond Tucker, Bryce Caryl, Allyson Mauzy, Holly Fox, Steven K. Fox, Maegan Fox, Sarah Eaves, Rachael Armijo, Rebekah Eaves, Kylie Webb, and Skyler Webb.  She also leaves behind twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
