Alice Victoria Torres

Alice Victoria Torres (85) of Farmington, NM, passed away August 5, 2022. Alice was born September 29, 1936, in Folsom, NM, to Anastacio Barela and Felipita "Skelly" Santillanez.

Our loving mother and grandmother had a beautiful, joyous, and happy spirit. She loved to work in her yard and crochet blankets for her loved ones.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Torres, her son, Richard Torres, brothers, Alfonso Barela, Joe Barela, and Willy Barela, and her sister, Julia Barela. She is survived by her sons, Rodney (Fumi) Torres and Gary (Victoria) Torres, her daughters, Alice Faye Jaramillo, Valerie (Arlo) Mojica, and Julie Holly, her sisters, Mary Passarelli, Angie Bernal, and Lucy Torres, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Alice preferred not to have a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in her name to your church or favorite charity.
