Angela (Wilkins) Ross, Mom, was given her first breath December 12, 1932, in Hampstead, London, England, by “war to end all war” survivors Horace and Ivy Wilkins, from that first breath to her last, on March 23, 2026, 93 years later, she led a well and active life. She leaves one beloved younger sister, Beryl, and one youngest brother, Chris who still reside in the home country. She created nine children, who gave her 18 grandkids, 22 great-grandkids, and 4 great-great-grandkids. She has one son, Chris, and one daughter, Beverly, waiting for her, along with three husbands and numerous dogs, ducks, and animals. :)
Mom was part of the Silent Generation, although we would put her firmly in the Greatest Generation. She lived through World War II London Blitzes and, typical of Mom, became a nurse’s aide during that time. That flourished into an on-and-off lifelong career as an RN. She lived on two continents, in four countries, four counties, two provinces, four states, ten cities and towns, and two airbases, making each one her home until she moved on. She loved to walk and hike and was active to her last days, with her final years caring for and sitting with a menagerie of animals and grandkids. She is cherished and missed:(
There will be private family only service on the 17th of April 2026.
