Ariel Delgado was born on December 30, 1998, and spent his life rooted in the community of Farmington, New Mexico. He was the beloved son of Dora and Efren Delgado, and a brother to Efren Delgado and Jessica Delgado.

Ariel was a devoted father to his two daughters, Yaritza Delgado and Anaí Delgado, who were the brightest lights in his life. Ariel attended Piedra Vista High School, where he formed many of the friendships and values that shaped who he became. He entered the workforce and soon discovered a deep passion for the oil field. His dedication, work ethic, and determination earned him the respect of both his coworkers and supervisors. Over time, he grew into his role as a proud and skilled Derrick hand, where he took to heart and performed with exceptional pride. Ariel was known for being outspoken and fearless in standing up for what he believed, and he carried a strong sense of conviction. Outside of work, Ariel found joy and freedom in motorcycles and cars. Whether riding or simply sharing conversations about engines and open roads, these passions were a meaningful part of his life. Ariel passed away on November 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and love.

He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his unwavering voice, and the profound impact he had on his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ariel is preceded in death by his grandparents Manuel Delgado and Josefina Antillon.

Ariel is survived by his daughters Yaritza Delgado, Anaí Delgado, parents Dora and Efren Delgado, brother Efren Delgado, sister Jessica Delgado, and grandparents Jesus María Jaquez and Carmen Borunda.

Ariel Delgado nació el 30 de diciembre de 1998 y vivió toda su vida en Farmington, Nuevo México. Era el querido hijo de Dora y Efren Delgado, y hermano de Efren Delgado y Jessica Delgado. Ariel fue un padre devoto de sus dos hijas, Yaritza Delgado y Anaí Delgado, quienes eran la luz de su vida. Ariel asistió a la preparatoria Piedra Vista, donde forjó muchas de las amistades y valores que lo marcaron. Al incorporarse al mundo laboral, pronto descubrió una profunda pasión por la industria petrolera. Su dedicación, ética de trabajo y determinación le granjearon el respeto de sus compañeros y supervisores. Con el tiempo, se convirtió en un orgulloso y hábil operador de torre de perforación, un trabajo que realizaba con gran orgullo y entrega.

 Ariel era conocido por ser franco y valiente al defender sus convicciones, y tenía una gran fortaleza en sus principios. Fuera del trabajo, Ariel encontraba alegría y libertad en las motocicletas y los autos. Ya fuera montando en moto o simplemente charlando sobre motores y carreteras, estas pasiones fueron una parte importante de su vida. Ariel falleció el 4 de noviembre de 2025, dejando un legado de trabajo duro, lealtad y amor. Será recordado por su espíritu vibrante, su voz firme y la profunda huella que dejó en su familia, amigos y todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

 A Ariel le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos Manuel Delgado y Josefina Antillon. Le sobreviven sus hijas Yaritza Delgado y Anaí Delgado, sus padres Dora y Efrén Delgado, su hermano Efrén Delgado, su hermana Jessica Delgado y sus abuelos Jesús María Jáquez y Carmen Borunda.
