Benjamin Aaron Coleman Jr passed away surrounded by his family on 10-26-2022 at the age of 76 in Farmington, New Mexico.

Ben was born in Fayetteville Arkansas 9-25-1946 to Benjamin Aaron Coleman Sr. and Floy Coleman. After graduating from Sandia High School. He served as a US Army Medic during the Vietnam era. Ben worked at San Juan Generating Station and retired as a Journeyman Operator after 25 years.

Ben is survived by his spouse Lucy Mae Coleman, his sisters Peggy Rodriguez and Pat Runyon, his three daughters, Galadriel Currin, Michelle Bratcher, and Jyn Archuleta, twenty grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Ben is preceded in death by his son's Toby Howell and Benjamin Aaron Coleman III.

Ben was a quite loving individual who enjoyed spending time with his family. Ben loved cooking Mexican food, music and sports. Ben learned to play the guitar from his father and often sang with his sisters when he was younger. He also played the guitar in several bands throughout the years. Ben instilled his love of music to his children and often played games that involved the name of the artist, the year it came out and which version was better. Ben played in local baseball and bowling leagues as well as enjoying golf as he got older. He could spend hours watching any sport- every sport but his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboy football team.

The Coleman family would like to thank the many friends and community members that have supported the family during this difficult time.

The Celebration of Life Service for Benjamin will be held December 3, 2022 at Artifacts Gallery 302 W. Main, Farmington, NM at 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Reception to follow at 6:30pm at Jyn and Anthony Archuleta's home 104 W. 31st St. Farmington NM.
