Benjamin Lee

Benjamin Lee Jr., 71, of Upper Fruitland, New Mexico passed away on July 30, 2021 in Farmington. Benjamin was born to Ben Lee Sr. and Pauline Polly Lee on October 5th, 1949, in Carson, New Mexico. He was born to Ma’ii Deeshgiizhinii, born for Bit’ahnii, Maternal Grandfather Ttaashci’i,  Paternal Grandfather Kinyaa’anii.

Benjamin Enjoyed tinkering on cars, going to car shows, watching movies, watching his daughter and grandsons play various sports; and watching the NBA season ticket package.

At the age of 24, Benjamin began working for BHP Billiton at Fruitland and Waterflow. There he worked as an electrician, mechanic, and dragline operator until he retired in 2012.

Benjamin Lee Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Ben Lee Sr. and Pauline Polly Lee; His brothers Juleson, Daniel, and Roy Lee; his Paternal Grandparents Harry and Mary Ann Lee, and his Maternal Grandparents Roy and Evelyn Platero.

Benjamin is survived by His loving wife Shonnie P Lee; His Son, Shannon Lee; His Daughter Yiwikai Lee-Thomas; His Brothers Leroy Lee, and Albert Lee; His Sisters Arlene Romero, Pearl Cowboy, and Darlene Vallo; And his grandchildren, Ayrminiqe “Wubz” Bennalley, Rashad Thomas II, and Tripp Thomas.
