Betty Fahrion

Betsy Fahrion, age 89, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on December 22, 2023. She was born in Durango, CO, to Bennie Martinez and Ray G. Martinez.

Our mother wanted us to thank those she treasured as friends for making her life fulfilling and being there for her when she needed them the most. Mom loved her sweetheart, Bill, with her whole heart. What a blessing it was to us all when Bill and Mom found each other. She loved his family like they were her own. To know Mom was to love her.

Betsy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Ray G. Martinez, Jr., and sister Tanya Jo Eaton. She is survived by her daughters Tammie Nelson (Jack) and Whitney Crawley-Miller (Kelly), brother Billy Martinez, sister Maryann Greget, grandchildren William Nelson, Nickolas Nelson, Samantha Nelson, and Kelsey McQuitty, as well as great-grandchildren Taylynn Banry, Ila Nelson, Harlie Burson, and Chance Burson.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at Farmington Funeral Home
