On July 7th of 1979 Bill and Bev got their first place, and moved into their home together in Albuquerque New Mexico, to all who know Bev and Bill, this was the "first anniversary" and one which would be celebrated by them together for many, many years to come. Bev and Bill joined hands in marriage on May 24th of 1980 at the Trinity Assembly of God in Farmington New Mexico. Bev and Bill started their family together in their first family home in Bloomfield New Mexico with the birth of their daughter Miranda Jean McPherson (Wilhelm) in 1984 and later with the birth of their son Nathan Lee McPherson in 1989. In 2006, Beverly was diagnosed with a hereditary kidney disease, and, by the Mercy of the Lord, Bev received the renewed gift of life from Cherie García (Dehtan) who selflessly donated Bev a kidney on September 19th of 2006 at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. At this same time through this generous donation the McPherson family gained another Daughter in Cherie, and the children were gifted a new life-long sibling. Bev had many passions in life which she enjoyed sharing with all of her friends and family... she loved crafting and attending craft fairs, collecting anything hummingbird related, building on her spoon collection, working on her immaculate coloring books, and collecting gemstones. Bev was especially passionate about spending time with her close friends playing Bunko, attending Bible study with friends at Calvary Church, building forts with her grandchildren, attending NHRA drag racing events and of course, watching her Pittsburgh Steelers. Bev was proceeded in death by her Father Elisandro García, In-Laws, William and Bonnie McPherson, Brother-in-Laws Gary McPherson and Richard Oakley, niece Tracy Butterfield, and nephew Michael Butterfield.
