Bobbie Bayles

Bobbie Jo Bayles, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away in Aztec, NM in her sleep due to natural causes on May 15th, 2025. She was born on December 21st, 1941 in McClean, TX to Ralph and Sylvia McAdams. She was mother to Cynthia Cantwell, Bud Brown, Johnna Brown, Dara McMurray, all of Kansas City, MO, Danette Cordova and Marla Padilla of Farmington, NM, and David Goosey of Vancouver, WA. She was also stepmother to Troy Bayles of Rio Rancho, NM and Dale Bayles of Albuquerque, NM. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Thelma; one brother, Tommy; and three grandchildren, Michael, Leo, and Monica. She is survived by her loving husband, Harvey; sisters, Lanell and Lajuana; and all her children. Bobbie is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 14 nieces and nephews.

In 1981, she met and married the love of her life, Harvey, in Farmington, NM. Soon after, she left her job of over ten years at El Paso Natural Gas Co. to be a homemaker. This marriage lasted over 43 years until Bobbie's passing. She cherished her husband and her family, and she took great pride in the legacy that she built. Her special gift was that she made sure we all knew how much she loved us. She was the light of our lives, and her passing leaves a void that can never be filled. Rest in Peace with Love, Bobbie.

Per Bobbie's wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of life to be determined at a later time.
