Brenda Gross

August 22, 1961 — August 12, 2025

Brenda Gross, 63, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on August 13, 2025. To know Brenda was to know kindness, laughter, and a heart that always put others first. She had a way of making everyone feel cared for, whether through a warm smile, a funny story, or simply showing up when she was needed most. She could light up a room with her presence and often with a story that had everyone laughing.

She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Gross; her daughter, BreAnna Osborn (Austin); her sister, Becky Scott; her brother, Eddie Kendall; and many beloved nieces and nephews from both sides of the family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Charlie Coots; her mother, Wanda Kendall; and her Aunt Louise.

A devoted stay-at-home mom, Brenda filled her life with love, creativity, and purpose. She was a passionate crafter who was always making something beautiful with her hands, and she often found new side hustles to keep her busy. She enjoyed watching HGTV, treasured her trips to Auburn, and loved the South and everything it represented to her. Auburn and Kentucky always held special places in her heart, and when the two teams played each other, she was famously torn and happy no matter which side won. She loved her bourbon and Cokes and was rarely without a Coke in her purse, often carrying two just in case, a small reflection of her nature to always have enough to share.

Her faith carried her through every season of life, even as she faced Huntington's disease with grace and courage. She inspired her family and everyone who knew her with her generosity, resilience, and joyful spirit. Those who knew her will carry her love forward, and her laughter and kindness will echo in their hearts for years to come.

Friends and family are welcome to share memories, stories, and photos in Brenda's online guestbook so her light can continue to shine.
