Cynthia Lee

April 20, 1949 — July 28, 2025

Cynthia "Nana" Stevens Mow Lee went home to Jesus on July 28, 2025.

Cyndi was born to James Stevens and Marie Athene Nicholson Stevens on April 20, 1949 in Salem, Illinois. She married Leland Mow on December 23, 1966, and they had four children together. Cyndi married Dan Lee on July 28, 1995 and gained two more children from that union.

Cyndi was preceded in death by both parents, James and Athene, grandson Matthew Pierce, and by her first husband, Leland Mow. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dan Lee, brothers Nick (Beth) Stevens and Britt Stevens, sister Misty (Andrew) DiCamillo, and her children, Paula (David) Routt, Robert (Jayne) Lee, Melissa Mow, Teddi (Jeremy) Divine, Vicki (Scooter) McNeal, and Jacob (Cleo) Mow; grandkids Douglas (Jessy Jo) Mize, Colin (Kendra) Mize, Alicia (Brian) Bixler, Jessica (Nate) McPherson, Cody Colbert, Thomas Pierce, Hannah Lee, Nicholas Pierce, Bryn (Luke) Schnurr, Jadyn Mow, Sara Pierce, Jenna Divine, Joby Lee, Grace Divine, and Trustin Lee; great grandchildren Hannah Frausto, Erika Bixler, Trevenor Mize, Easton McPherson, Maddison Mize, Warren Mize, Maverick Lee, Avery Mize, Lyla McPherson, Timothy Mize, Evelyn Mize, and Lily Lee, along with other grandchildren, great grandchildren, many brothers and sisters-in law, and nieces and nephews.

Cyndi loved others well, and was loved well by others, including so many from her Sunday school class and good friends at First Baptist Church of Bloomfield; special friends Sandy Stevens, Jimmie Sue Lee, and great friends she's made through her years this side of heaven. Cyndi grew her family every time she stepped out of the house, whether it be claiming a new friend as a grandkid or sharing her faith to gain a brother or sister in Christ.

There will be a relocation celebration at First Baptist Church in Bloomfield on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider paying it forward or finding a way to serve others.
