David Allen Bachert, 53, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on June 24, 2026, in Farmington, New Mexico. David was born on April 26, 1973, in Bloomfield, New Mexico, to parents Earl and Dorothe Bachert.
David Bachert entered into the Lord's kingdom on June 24th, 2026, at his home in Farmington, New Mexico. In his final days, David found peace, clarity, and comfort as he devoted and surrendered his life to the Lord.
In 2017, David married the love of his life, Summer. Together they shared nine years of love, laughter, and cherished memories. David was a devoted husband, a hardworking and passionate father, and a man of unwavering faith. He loved the Lord, his family, and the outdoors, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, integrity, compassion, and dedication.
David inspired everyone he met with his belief that a person's legacy is not measured by what they leave behind financially, but by the values they uphold and the example they set through every decision they make.
For nine years, David proudly owned and operated Chillin' RHVAC while also serving as an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician at Enterprise Products, where he dedicated 19 years of faithful service.
David is survived by his wife Summer Rachelle Bachert, sons Alec Bachert, Micah Bachert, stepson Logan Castleman, stepdaughters Crista Crowder and Kiera Lyda, brothers Dick (Kathy), and Tim Bachert, sisters Beth (Larry) Palmer, Barbara (Ed) Islas, Susan (Frank) Porter, Karen (Stan) Gingrich, Peg Stewart, Joy Lopiccolo, and grandson Oliver Bachert.
David was proceeded in death by his parents, Earl and Dot Bachert, and stepdaughter, Crista Crowder. David is survived by his loving wife, Summer Bachert, his sons, Alec and Micah Bachert, his stepchildren, Logan Castleman and Kiera Lyda, along with grandchildren, family members, and dear friends whom will cherish his memory.
A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Farmington, New Mexico, on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, at 11 AM. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by David are warmly invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church in David's honor.
