David Lee King

Mr. David Lee King, age 60, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Sunday June 21, 2026. David was born on December 14, 1965, in Farmington, New Mexico to Arthur Ray and Della King.

David was a loving son to Della and Arthur King. His brothers, sisters, and cousins were his best friends growing up, and he carried a deep love for all of his nieces and nephews throughout his life. He was an amazing Uncle, Father figure and Friend. David loved his family fiercely and never hesitated to step up when he was needed.

David worked for the Clark County school district and retired after 34 years. His absence has left a mark in the hallways and her will be dearly missed by many friends who had become family. David may have been one of the more chill cousins, but that never stopped him from being one of the first to protect one of his own. He was the kind of man people would choose to have in their corner because they knew he would how up when it mattered the most.

He was funny, nosy, and unapologetically loved being in other people's business-sometimes even complete strangers. Whether it was family news, neighborhood gossip, or a conversation happening across the room, David somehow always knew what was going on.

David left a mark on everyone whose path he crossed. His loyalty, humor, protectiveness, and love for his family will never be forgotten. The stories, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will continue to be shared for years to come.

David was preceded in death by his sister, Deloris Davis.

Surviving are his parents; Arthur Ray King and Della King, Brothers; Elliot King and Tommy Ray King.

Sisters: Bernadette Escojeda, Vanessa Pachal Martin.

Nieces and Nephews: Anthony King, Carrissa King, Sasha King, Tori King, Latasha King, Sisco Solis, Tianna Rae King, Christina King, Yazmene Escojeda, Tommy Ray King II, Jacob Harris and David King.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday June 26th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Sagebrush Church, 1501 Sunrise Parkway, Farmington, New Mexico 87401.

A reception will follow at 12:00 noon Friday June 26, 2026, at The Conference Room, 2050 Knudsen Avenue, Farmington, New Mexico 87401
