Farmington

David Jefferey Podoll, 39, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on July 12, 2026, in Farmington, New Mexico. David was born on November 4, 1986, in Sonora, California to parents Michael and Kim Podoll.

Dave had a profound way of connecting with everyone he met. He had an instant friend the minute he shook your hand. His first love was his baby girl, but not just her, he loved all of his step kids and grandkids as much as he loved life. He was a hard worker trying to learn more everyday just so he had millions of useless factors running through his mind. Wintertime brought on the football fan for the Bronco’s. They were his team through and through. However, summer meant Baseball and hours of Giants games rang through the house. The one favorite thing him and his wife would love to do was go watch the Isotopes play any chance they got. The few things he loved was cooking for all that was around, whether it was the grill at work or the smoker at home, even on vacation he would make dinner just cause he loved to cook. David also loved car races, all kinds of wrestling, and making people laugh.

David graduated from High School in 2005 from Summerville High School in Sonora, California. He also attended trade school for Law Enforcement. David had experience working in Security, jail guard, landscaping, construction, and was currently working as a Site Leader for Core Main.

David is preceded by his father Michael David Podoll, mother-in-law Joann Wilks, uncles Tim Slade, and Kris Slade, grandparents Bill Harris, Vera (Toots) Harris (paternal), Henry Louis Slade, and Glenda Lee Clark (maternal).

David is survived by his wife Tanya Podoll, sons Adam Graham, and Austin Lanier, daughters Gracelynn Marie Podoll, Katelinn Lanier, parents Kim Britt and Rob Wood, sisters Yolanda (Jim) Bennett, Karrie Podoll, Johnathon Cooper, Aunt Terrie Pease, Uncle Bill (Linda) Harris, nephews Johnathon (Allie) Podoll, Aaron (Alexandria) Stetson, nieces Kyra Mitchell, grandchildren Roselina Graham, Braxton Lanier, Jace Lanier, Karson Lanier, and Kolby Lanier.
