Debra Diane Alleman, 71, a beloved resident of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Green River, Wyoming. She was born on November 17, 1953, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Ira Robert Alleman and Viola Alleman.
Debra was a proud graduate of Aztec High School and a devoted member of the Church of Christ. Her life was marked by generosity, kindness, and a deep sense of community. She dedicated countless hours to volunteer work and charitable causes, always putting others before herself.
An accomplished amateur photographer, Debra received awards for her work and found great joy in capturing the beauty around her. She enjoyed a good movie night and especially liked action-packed films like the Jurassic Park, Jumanji, and Indiana Jones series. Known as the family's trivia queen, she rarely missed a Jeopardy answer and consistently outpaced both family and contestants with her quick mind.
Debra had a warm and gentle heart-no stray animal ever remained homeless for long in her presence. She loved spending time with family, playing card games, and cooking meals that brought loved ones together.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Viola Alleman, and her brother, Robert Alleman. She is survived by her loving sisters, Grace Annette Stocks and Glenda Bohner, and her brothers, Steven Alleman and Bobby Alleman. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Aztec Church of Christ in Aztec, New Mexico. Interment will follow at 4:00 PM at Sylvan Cemetery in Pleasant View, Colorado. All who knew and loved Debra are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
