Debra (Debbie) Denice Baldwin of Aztec, New Mexico, joined the angels on June 29, 2025, at the age of 65 in her home surrounded by her family. Debbie was born to Mabel Kelly on May 15, 1960, in Bernalillo, New Mexico.
Debbie grew up in Aztec, New Mexico. From the time she was walking, Debbie loved hunting and camping out with family. Early in high school, Debbie was a Connie Mack Princess. When Debbie was 15, she met Richard Baldwin, the love of her life, and they married on February 24, 1976. There was nothing Debbie wouldn’t do, she was the jack of all trades and held many jobs. But her favorite job title was Mom and Nana. Debbie was very active in all the kids’ activities. From racing dirt bikes to drag racing, and all the ways you could race in between. But there was always time for hunting with her boys. Debbie cherished everything her family did as long as they were together. Debbie used painting as her therapy after her cancer diagnosis, and found a passion and incredible talent.
Debbie is preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Dixon, Father Jesse Dixon, sisters Mabel (Vaughn) Strain and Norma Sue Strain, in-laws Lowell and Carol Baldwin.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard, sons Jesse (Erica) Baldwin, Ricky Baldwin and B Baldwin. 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Sister Trish (Terry) Whipple, brother Dwayne (Jovina) Dixon, sister Sandra (Thomas) Tafoya, and many nieces and nephews.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse Baldwin, Ricky Baldwin, B Baldwin, Hunter Baldwin, JJ Baldwin, and Dwayne Dixon.
