Donald Frank Hobbs

Don Hobbs went to his heavenly home on May 10, 2025. He was born in September 1937 to Millard Hobbs and Leona Sanford Hobbs in Hollis, Oklahoma.

Don dedicated 30 years to teaching at Tibbetts and Hermosa Junior High Schools. He also spent many years working as a boat mechanic at Terry’s Marine. He was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Patty; his daughters, Diana of Farmington, and Glenda Davis and her husband Paul of Corsicana, TX; his grandson, Ben Davis and his wife Maria; and his great-grandsons, Josiah and Jackson, all of Pensacola, FL. He also leaves behind many dear friends who became like family.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ron Bliss, Misty, and the staff at Beehive Homes for the exceptional care they provided to Don.

A memorial service is scheduled for June 9th at 10:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church, followed by a reception. Arrangements are entrusted to Farmington Funeral Home.
