Dorothy Lee Witzman

July 23, 1938 — May 10, 2026

Farmington

Today we celebrate the life of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Dorothy Lee Witzman, who peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 10, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by the love of her family.

Dorothy had the biggest heart and devoted her life to caring for others. She loved her family fiercely and opened her arms to so many children throughout her life. To know her was to know kindness, patience, faith, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucy Stock; her husband of 30 years, Lawrence Witzman; her sister Beth; brothers Derald, Floyd, Donald, and Kelly Stock; and her nephew Pete Witzman.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Barbara Tracy and Katherine Jaramillo (Anthony). She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Valerie Stalder (Michael), Daniel Tracy (April), Brittney Goodwin, Amber Mitchell (Taylor), Megan Tracy, Kris Durae, and Cody “CJ” Kissman.

She was also blessed with many beloved great-grandchildren: Cody Stalder, Ajay Stalder, Vladimir Break, McKayla Break, Sara Stalder, Kieth Baugh, Rowan Tracy, Chase Tracy, Oliver Tracy, Eden Tracy, Issac Mitchell, and Benjamin Mitchell.

Her nieces Charlie Martin (Larry) and Eva Kissman (Scott), along with her nephew Frank Witzman, were loved by Dorothy as if they were her own children.

Dorothy was deeply dedicated to her church and her faith. As a Sunday school teacher, she believed she could make a difference in the lives of children by helping ignite their faith in their Heavenly Father. She also faithfully served in the church history center, where she loved genealogy and family research.

For many years, Dorothy worked as a caregiver for children. The many young lives she helped raise became part of her extended family. She held a special place in her heart for Karrah, Ryan, and Cory, loving them proudly as her own.

Dorothy’s life was a beautiful example of service, compassion, strength, and faith. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her
