Edna Ann Wageman, 86, of Farmington, NM, passed away surrounded by her grandchildren on Monday morning, April 28, 2025. She was born on May 3, 1938, in Santa Fe, NM, to Irene and Clyde Faulk. She graduated from Santa Fe High School and received her Associate’s degree from Stephens College in Columbia, MO, and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. She enjoyed her career through various roles in the regional oil and gas industry, including roles at Little Oil and Gas, Blackwood and Nichols Co., LTD, and San Juan Gas Company.
Throughout her life, Edna was a devoted mother who loved her children unconditionally. She cared for her beloved daughter, Ann, for over 20 years, especially over the last decade as Ann’s condition progressed. She will be remembered for her fierce independence, yet gentle spirit, kind heart, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. Edna loved to travel and cherished the adventures and memories made along the way. After retiring, she continued to serve others through her involvement in her church, and as a committed member of the Hospital Auxiliary at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
Edna was preceded in death by her mother Irene Lassiter Faulk, father Clyde Oral Faulk, son Louis Shawn Wageman, and daughter Ann Michelle Wageman.
She is survived by her brother Clyde Faulk “Bud” (Raye) of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren Thomas Cleveland (Danielle, Savanna, and Charlotte) of Wenatchee, WA; Trevor Cleveland of Omaha, NE; Jonathan Cleveland of Augusta, GA; Ezra Cleveland of Pensacola, FL; Olivia Cleveland of Grand Forks, ND; Hope Dalton (Josiah) of Joplin, MO; and Liberty Cleveland of Laramie, WY. She is also survived by Anna Cleveland (James) of Langdon, ND; Bryan Cleveland (Laura-Anne, Kyle, Gabriel, Gideon, Isabella, Kyle) of Haymarket, VA; Sarah McCarty (Cossette, Juniper, Rosemary) of Hillsboro, KS; Jessica Caloca (Rogelio, Josephine, Benjamin, Naomi) of Lehigh, KS; Katy Ramirez (Julius, Liam, Adley) of Park City, KS; Grace Cleveland of Pensacola FL; and Avalon Dudley (Sean) of Langdon, ND, whom she cherished as family.
The funeral service will be held on May 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Bethany Christian Church, with a reception to follow at the same location. A graveside visitation will take place at 12:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family wishes to recognize the following as honorable pallbearers: Jonathan Cleveland, Irmalee Leach, Jessie Swearingen, and Sarah Velasquez.
