Edward Charles Buffett

Mr. Edward Charles Buffett, age 66 of Aztec, New Mexico passed away on Saturday February 21, 2026. He was born on August 1, 1959, in Chama, New Mexico to Ralph Buffett and Beatrice Sanchez.

 Edward was a hardworking man with an amazing heart. Loved by all who were blessed with his presence, a skilled carpenter, handyman and cook. He put his heart into everything, was a logger for his young adult life and then worked for the City of Farmington where he retired after many devoted years. Aside from work he enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors. He was a very faith-based man and always looked to prayer. He was a dog lover, and his dogs were his pride and joy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Beatrice, one brother: Ralph Buffett Jr. and one sister: Sally Martinez.

Surviving are his Daughter Miranda Buffett, Grandchildren who were very special to him, Reyes Buffett and Kingston Wells. His brother Joseph Sanchez. Nieces: Star Velasquez, Amanda Padilla, Miranda Padilla and Caitlyn Gonzales.

The Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday March 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2100 E. 20th St., Farmington, NM 87401.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Martinez, Pancho Sandoval, Sam Gonzales, Miquel Gonzales, Mike Terrasas, Juan Jose Martinez, Reyes Buffett and Kingston Wells.
