Ena Prado

Ena Margaret (Lobato) Prado, age 66, of Blanco, passed away peacefully in her home on October 20th, 2021.

Ena was born on April 23rd, 1955 in Farmington NM.  She graduated from barber school in Denver CO before starting her career, and her own business.  She was a barber for 44 years, she loved her career and the many friends that she made along the way.  She was a devout Christian, and lived for her church sermons and daily devotionals.  Beyond this she also was a CCD teacher for years in the Catholic Church.  Ena was passionate about a lot of things, the biggest one was her becoming a chaplain for the San Juan Regional hospital.  For almost 14 years she dedicated her life to being there for others.  She was the most kind and caring person00001.  She also loved travel, camping and boating.

Ena Prado is survived by her husband Clifford Prado of 42 years, of Blanco NM.  She is also survived by her son Sisto Sandoval, his wife Sylvia, granddaughter Serena, and grandson Sisto Jr., her daughter Tamara Meeks, grandson Bryan and granddaughter Avery, her son Ryan Prado and his son Ayden, her father Victor Lobato and stepmother Donna Lobato of Blanco NM, Helen Wood of Blanco NM, Paul Lobato of Albuquerque NM, Chris Lobato of Texas, Alex Lobato of Bloomfield, NM. And the many nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her mother Seaprie (Quintana) Lobato and her sister Katherine Arlene (Lobato) Malott.

A rosary will held at 7pm on Friday November 5th, and funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 6th both at St. Rose church in Blanco NM.  There will be a dinner after at the church hall.
