Frank Talley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Talley, who left us on October 27, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on July 22, 1958, in Nageezi, New Mexico to John and Gladys Talley.

His clans are Bit'ahnii, born for Naakaii Dinéé, maternal grandfather is Ashiinnii, and paternal grandfather is Tódích'íi'nii.

Frank was raised in Teec Nos Pos, AZ in a Christian family. His father a minister, Frank went to Rehoboth Christian school and when he was a teenager he left. Traveling throughout the U.S. he went to Georgia and Oklahoma where he worked as a welder and then came home. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in 1981 and traveling overseas to Japan and Thailand for deployment. His service was a testament to his unwavering commitment to his country and the values he held dear. After serving he arrived in Phoenix, AZ where he dedicated his life to Jesus and marrying his love, Lisa Holmes. Starting a family with two children, later adopting a third. Frank moved to Kirtland, NM then to Durango, CO to go to school for computer science. Shortly after he was diagnosed with kidney failure, then after twelve years he received a transplant. He then moved to Farmington, NM. Frank loved his family and church, he went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2025.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents John and Gladys Talley, brother John Talley Jr., sisters Florence Slowman, Gloria Ann Talley, and Mildred Chavez, and grandparents Todacheenee Tso Begay, Mary Tso Begay, and Frank Talley.

He is survived by his loving wife Lisa Talley, son Joshua Talley, daughters Correen Talley and Mercedes Talley, brothers Johnnie Ray Talley, Glen Talley, sisters Joan Talley and Mishelle Talley, and grandchild Kamren Talley.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday November 1, 2025, at The Potters House Church. Officiated by Dave Jones. Burial will be at 12:00 PM at Memory Gardens of Farmington. A reception will follow at 12:45 PM at The Potters House Church.

Pallbearers are Fabian Talley, Isaiah Talley, Varion Talley, Joseph Robledo, Vernon Etsitty, and Rafael Campos.
