Franklin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a farmer and natural-born athlete. He ran track, played football, baseball, and rodeoed. Franklin also loved to fish, hunt, and spend time camping with family.

His greatest calling in life was being a father, grandfather, great grandfather and loving his wife.

Franklin is survived by his son, Cameron Miller; his daughters, Crystal West, Holly Stock, and Kali Warner; sisters, Charlotte Lucky and Marlyn Davis; and grandchildren Danielle Kimball, Richard Garcia, Blake, Ashley, and Hailey West, Corrie Silva, Cydnie and Tyler Stock, Dustie King, Morgan and Carson Miller, Mitchell Miller, and Karter and Kenean Warner; and great-grandchildren, Ryker and Ella Kimball.

Franklin is preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Miller; parents, Herman Adelbert Miller and Myrtle Elizabeth Briggs-Miller; and grandparents, Adelbert and Mattie Miller.

A graveside service is being held at the Waterflow Cemetery in Waterflow, New Mexico at 10:00am on June 23, 2020. On behalf of the family, please respect social distancing.
