Fred Aragon

Fred Aragon, 77 of Cuba, NM, passed away on January 10,2023. He was born June 28, 1945 in Cuba, NM. to Basilio and Nepumusena Aragon.

Fred worked in the oilfield for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. After he retired he left Farmington and lived in Cuba where he loved riding, training, and taking care of his horses.

Stephen would like to thank his cousin Beverly for taking such good care of his dad.

Fred is preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille Aragon; sons Michael and Roger Aragon; grandsons Paul Jones (PJ), and Nicholas Aragon; parents Basilio and Nepumusena Aragon; brothers Celedonio and Merced Aragon; sister Edumenia (Mena) Aragon.

He is survived by his son Stephen (Heather) Aragon; daughter Debbie Jones; brothers Fidencio (Julia), Benancio (Beverly), and Flaviano (Drucy) Aragon; sister in laws Dorella Aragon and Deedee; granchildren Adeline Carney, Mariah Aragon (Ray), Antonio Aragon, Deangelo Aragon, Marquez Aragon, D'Angelo Cage, Destynee (Austin), Stephen Jr. (Elycia), Jorge Cuevas, Dominic Cage, Jason Cage, and Marissa G.; great-grandchildren Eli Benson, Genesis & Raiden Moreno, Malena and Marshall Aragon, Asher and Ember Nagel, Waylon and Acelynn Aragon, Alex, Yeshall and Thaddeus Avalos, and Trenton Jones.

The memorial service will be at 11:00am on January 24, 2023 at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St. A reception will follow the service at Inspired Moments, 310 W. Main St. in Farmington.
