George Jeston Head

George Jeston Head was born on September 29^th, 1934 and passed away on April 10^th, 2023. He was born in Alamosa, Colorado to George and Amy Head. His family made their home in Farmington, NM. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1952 and immediately joined the United States Marine Corps. He met and married Lucille Marie Garrett. During his career they traveled the world with their five children. In retirement he enjoyed fishing with his family and reading.

 He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years and his son George Jay Head.

He leaves behind his son Wayne Head, daughter in law Kris Head (Mathew & Sarah), Jeanne Gosser (Francis), Susan Price (Mary & Lindsay), and Mary Head-Powell (Elizabeth), as well as eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s association.
