Gilbert Sanchez

Gilbert (Buddy) Sanchez, 79, was greeted into his heavenly father’s arms Tuesday October 26th, 2021. Gilbert was born 07/27/1942 in Durango, CO to
Benito and Maria Sanchez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ernest, Charlie, and George, sisters Maggie, Mary, and Virginia.

He worked for the City of Bloomfield for 30 years which he took pride in and enjoyed doing. He loved to fish and would always throw them back in after he
caught them. Gilbert also enjoyed making memories with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Gilbert is survived by his wife of 9 years Pam; sons Danny and Anthony Sanchez; daughter Susan Franco (Ozzie); sisters Carrie Rash, Dorothy Mitchell,
Sissy Atwood; brothers Joe Sanchez and Andy Sanchez; grandkids Domonic and Alex Velasquez, Nathan, Daniel, and Crystal Sanchez; Kyle Ryan; Alex and Elise
Vallejos; and Jeremy Lock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held at Farmington Funeral Home at 2111 W. Apache St in Farmington, NM on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 3:30pm.

A celebration of his life will be held at Cross Roads Community Church at 2400 N. Butler Ave in Farmington, NM, on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 10:00am with Pastor Billy Stone officiating.
