Gudrun Hirsch

October 4, 1946 — January 25, 2024

Gudie immigrated to NYC, NY when she was 8yo to join her mother, Elizabeth, where she lived and attended school until Elizabeth married Richard Button in 1961 and the family then settled in Colorado. It was there where she met her future husband, Bryce A. Hirsch having been introduced by their mothers.

Gudie and Bryce married on January 26, 1966, and had 4 daughters, moving between Colorado, California and New Mexico until permanently settling in San Juan County NM.

Gudie enjoyed many things in life including participating in the local German club, playing all kinds of card, video and board games with her family, loved to crochet and had a passion for genealogy and every kind of pet and animal. She worked numerous jobs but her main one, and most important to her, was wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Button, step father Richard Button and father Albert Jud

Gudie, you will be forever missed but never forgotten -

"Your soul was ready, but our hearts were not."
