Harry B. Pete

Harry B. Pete, 89, of Fruitland, New Mexico, passed away on April 1, 2022, in Fruitland, New Mexico. Harry was born on December 10, 1932, in Fruitland, New Mexico to parents Charley and Jane Pete.

Harry proudly served in the United States Army. As well as working at BHP San Juan Coal Co. for 26 years from 1970 to 1996. Harry started out as a labor up to a Heavy Equipment Operator. Harry loved bowling, oil painting, leather craft, traveling as well as various types of mechanical and electrical repairs.

Harry is preceded in death by his son Harold Eugene Pete, parents Charley and Jane Pete, brother Raymond Pete and sisters Eva Pete, and Jane Benally Bowman.

Harry is survived by his wife Rosalyn T. Pete, son Harry Pete Jr., daughter Cheryl June Bradley (Henry), grandchildren Jennifer R. Pete, Lucsila T. Reynoso (Daniel), Melissa M. Johnson (Brian), Harry J. Pete, Harold T. Pete, Henry I. Bradley, Jessica J. Bradley (Craig), Koelle K. Reynolds (Colby), including 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at The First Baptist Church of Bloomfield, Friday April 8, 2022, at 10:00am, officiated by Pastor Joel Gunn. Burial at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery will follow at 12:00pm.
