Janice Louise Coen

Janice Louise Coen, age 87 of Aztec, New Mexico passed away on Sunday April 26, 2026. She was born October 7, 1938, in Miami, Arizona to Glen W. and Pearl Saline.

Janice moved to Aztec as a young girl. She graduated from Aztec High School. Janice met Gene while working at Aztec A & W. They were soon married and welcomed eight children into their lives. Janice retired from the San Juan County Assessor's Office. She loved family, friends, music and reading. She was an active, lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband Eugene L. Coen, her parents Glen W. and Pearl Saline, Sister: Phyllis Warner. Brothers: Glenn Eddie Saline and Lyle Saline.

Surviving are her sons: Craig Coen and Chris (Teresa) Coen. Daughters: Gale (Vernon) Perkins, Caren (Craig) Marcum, Arlene Coen, Glenda (J.D.) Dees, Joni (Mike) Gay, Lisa (Philemon) Hinkle. She is also survived by fifteen Grandchildren and Fourteen Great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday May 2, 2026, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, New Mexico. Bishop Trevor Hatch, officiating.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Craig Coen, Chris Coen, Shane Marcum, Casey Perkins, Justin Coen and B.J. Howard.

Honorary Pallbearers: Craig Marcum, Vernon Perkins, J.D. Dees, Mike Gay and Philemon Hinkle.
