Jauana Merle Buckley

Jauana Merle Buckley, age 100 of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday June 6, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1925, in Farmington, New Mexico to the late Francis and Rosa Divers.

Jauna received all her education in Farmington, New Mexico. Graduating from Farmington High School which later turned in Tibbetts Jr. High at Apache and Dustin. After having two children she mostly worked until her retirement. Her work consisted of growing and selling fishing worms, upholstering furniture, and being a librarian in the Farmington Public Library until she retired.

She enjoyed bowling with her late husband two nights a week in league play at English Lanes; after retiring she took live dancing classes at the Senior Center and taking care of her yard at home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Joseph Buckley and her daughter; Sharon Kennard.

Surviving is her son John Buckley, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation and Viewing will be held Thursday June 11, 2026, from 4-5pm at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St. Farmington, New Mexico, 87401. Graveside services will be Friday June 12, 2026, 10 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. Farmington, New Mexico 87401.
