Jeannine Huntington

Jeannine Huntington, 78, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on January 19, 2026.

Jeannine was born on December 5, 1947, in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked for more than 50 years in the banking industry and took great pride in her work. She loved being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jeannine enjoyed tole painting, yard work, gardening, and many other hobbies that kept her creative and busy. 

Jeannine is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Joe), her son, Jesse (Heather); her sisters, Sherrill (Allen) and Tracey (Rick); her grandchildren, Branden Huntington, Dustin Sipe, Jillian Huntington, Jacey Huntington, Joe Garcia Jr., Ryen Garcia, and Noah Garcia; her great-grandchildren, Carson Huntington and Isabella Huntington. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her parents, Robert and Lorraine Challis; and her brother Bobby Challis.

Services will be held February 6th, 2026, at First Baptist Church, located at 700 Navajo Street, Aztec, New Mexico, at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Branden Huntington, Dustin Sipe, Jillian Huntington, Jacey Huntington, Carson Huntington, and Isabella Huntington. 

Jeannine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
