Jerry Clugston

Jerry Wayne Clugston, 82, of Farmington, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Farmington, New Mexico.

Jerry was born September 9, 1940, in Great Bend Kansas, to Clarence and Alene Clugston.

He was a member of Animas Lodge #15, San Juan Lodge #25, Four Corners Daylight Lodge #80, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the San Juan Shrine Club.

He retired from El Paso Natural Gas after 35 years as an electrician. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, and spending the winters in southern Arizona and the summers in the mountains in his RV. He enjoyed camping, fishing, four wheeling, and attending meetings held by the Masonic entities he belonged to. He was very outgoing and made friends wherever he went. He loved to make people laugh. One of his best friends was his dog named Tip. He loved to spend time playing with Tip-Dog and sharing cookies with him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, younger brother, Don Clugston, and older brother, Glen Clugston.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Clugston, daughter, Peggy Willis (Garry), son, Jimmy Clugston (Clare), grandsons, Grant Willis and Zachary Willis, great granddaughter, Gracelyn Bealko, and great grandson, Cooper Bealko.

Jerry's funeral will be at 10 AM Monday, December 19, at Farmington Funeral Home. Grand Master of New Mexico, William Pogue will officiate. Jerry will then be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington with a Masonic service. There will be a light luncheon at Animas Lodge #15 following the service at Greenlawn.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to make a donation in Jerry's name to the Salt Lake Shriners Hospital for Children.
