Jesse Dalton Hensley was born on October 14, 2005, to Billy and Rose Hensley.
At the age of 8, Jesse chose to be baptized alongside his brother Billy and his mother, by Pastor Dave at the Journey Church. From that time forward, he lived with a strong and sincere faith in the Lord. He prayed daily with his mother, always closing with the words, "Jehovah bless you in Jesus' name." This faith brings his family comfort, knowing that Jesse has entered the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father and gained eternal life through his trust in his Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Jesse had a big, generous heart and was always ready to help anyone in need. His laughter, energy, and light could brighten any room. As a child, he was endlessly curious-catching bugs, snakes, and critters-marveling at God's creation in every form. He also loved creating himself, pouring his passion into music. Jesse cherished time spent with his dad and brother, whether hunting, fishing, riding the dirt bike his dad bought him, or talking about their travels to Mexico. He also found joy and strength in mixed martial arts, a sport in which his skill and dedication stood out.
Jesse is survived by his father, Billy; his mother, Rose; his stepmother, Amy; his wife, Joclyn; his children, Janell and Elias; his brothers, Billy, Ve', Kadance, Kaden, Trey, and Matthew; his sisters, Jackie and Holly; his nephews, Zavion and Charlie; his nieces, Maliyah, Paitynn, and Kooper; his aunts, Tracy and Misty; and countless other family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Though Jesse's time on earth was far too short, his love, faith, and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
