Jimmy Southern

Southern, Mr. Jimmy Lee Southern aged 79 of Farmington, NM passed away Friday October 7, 2022. Jimmy was born on December 22, 1942, in Seminole OK. to the late Earl and Priscilla Southern. Jimmy served Active Duty in the United States Airforce as Police Officer from 1962 until 1964 following inactive reservist status for an additional 4 years. For 35 years was a Union Insulator. He enjoyed Gambling and Motocross where he won many titles and trophies. He was formerly married to Barbara Howard for 17 years and helped raised two sons. He was preceded in death by his son Steven Lee Southern in 2020, his Stepfather Ray Jackson. Brothers; Buster Earl and Billy Ray Southern. Sisters; Shirley June and Sue Southern.

Surviving is his son Michael Ray Southern of Farmington, NM.

Mother of his sons: Barbara Jean Southern of OK.

Visitation with the family will be held Monday October 17, 2022

From 10:00 am until 12pm at Farmington Funeral Home, 2111 W. Apache St, Farmington, NM. Graveside services will take place following the visitation at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery.
