Joanne Dolores Lucas-Klepac

Joanna D Lucas-Klepac, 75 passed away into the embrace of Jesus on September 18, 2026 in her home in Farmington, New Mexico.

Born on January 19, 1951 in Greensburg Pennsylavania she lived a life full of courage, faith, and adventure. She enjoyed cheering on her children in their various endeavors. She loved outdoors, snorkeling, traveling, painting, and time her dogs. She was always ready to share her Catholic faith, and was active in a number of ministries at Saint Mary's Parish. Her most favorite time was teaching confirmation classes together with her husband Juraj. They also kept ongoing scrabble battles for most of their time together.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anne Lucas, and brother Gerald Lucas.

She is survived by her husband Juraj Klepac, children Alexandria, Capria, Anthony, Charles, and Jermey, sister Marlene Stillitiano and brother Richard Lucas.

A rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on October 9, 2026 at St. Mary's Parish in Farmington, NM, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Internment will take place at St. Mary's Resurrection Columbarium immediately after the Mass.

A reception will be held after internment, at Sí Señor Restaurant, 4015 E 30th Street, Farmington, NM 87402.
