Johnny Paul Jaramillo

Johnny Jaramillo 75 of Bloomfield passed away Saturday March 28, 2026, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM. He was born in Pagosa Junction, CO on August 17, 1950, to Christoval and Susie (Archuleta) Jaramillo. He is survived by his children: Daughter Cynthia and Philip Atencio of Bloomfield, Son Jeff Jaramillo of Farmington, Daughter Lisa and Tom Trujillo of Farmington, and Daughter Crystal and John Gomez of Bloomfield, his Grandchildren: Anthony Atencio, Andrew Atencio and Kendel, Paul and Mae Jaramillo, James Howlett and Jodi, Johnny Gomez and Vanessa Jaramillo. Great Grandson: Benicio Atencio. His Brother Chris and Darlene Jaramillo of Bloomfield and sister Florian and Jr. Gallegos of Arboles, CO. Johnny is preceded in death by his wife Antonina Jaramillo, sisters Ruth Jaramillo and Gloria Archuleta, and his parents.

Johnny retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, driving his Dodge Charger, watching old westerns and the Denver Broncos.

Visitation and viewing will be held Thursday April 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM, to 9:30 AM, followed by the Holy Rosary and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St., Bloomfield, New Mexico. Fr. Francis Aquino Officiating Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Jaramillo, John Gomez, Andrew Atencio, Paul Jaramillo, Johnny Gomez and James Howlett. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Atencio and Vanessa Jaramillo.
