Jose Ascension Lopez Jr.

Jose A. Lopez Jr., 42, of Farmington, passed away on May 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Jose was a God-fearing man who loved and believed in the Lord. He was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, and deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time outside, Jose found peace in nature and joy in the simple moments of life.

A dedicated oilfield worker, Jose took pride in providing for those he loved. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and willingness to help others whenever he could. More than anything, Jose treasured his family and the time he shared with them.

He is survived by his daughter, Ammerie Amor Lopez; his parents, Jose and Angie Lopez; his sister, Melanie Silva and husband Jose Silva; along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Jose will be remembered for his laughter, strength, faith, and the love he gave to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
