Joseph Christ Henke

Joseph (Joe) Henke (96) entered into heaven on November 28, 2025, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM. Joe was born on August 15, 1929, in Dalton near Cheyanne County, Nebraska to Henry Henke and Stella Hoefer Henke.

Joe was a loving husband, dad grandfather, and great grandfather a true friend to all

He loved to play baseball with his brother Raymond, Joe loved fishing, camping and square dancing with Emily and golfing.

He was employed with Schlumberger oil field for 35 years upon retirement, he and Emily were snowbirds to Phoenix for 20 years

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Henry Henke and Stella Henke, His brothers Loyd, Raymond, Cyril, Jimmy, Donnie Henke, and his sisters Marcella, Marie and Rita. 

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 75 years Emily Henke, His sons John (Vickie) Henke, Jeff (Kelley) Henke, His daughters Vivian (Joe) Barela, Karen (John) Henke, His grandchildren Rusty (Tracy) Anderson, Kevin (Jill) Anderson, Kenny (Carol) Gibson, Chris (Sherri) Gibson, Lindsey (Jim) Henke, Kelin Henke, Cassey (Symeon) Usleman, Jess (Allie) Henke and 15 great grandchildren.
