Josiah Eli Jim, 32, of Beclabito, NM passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born on November 19, 1993, in Farmington, NM to Surrina Whitehorse and Julius Jim. His clans are To'aheedliinii, born for Ashiihi, Hooghanlani are his Cheis, Tabaaha are his Nali's.
Josiah graduated from Shiprock High School. He played football, baseball, and later found a love for golf. After high school he went to Central New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM from 2013 to 2014 where he studied to be an Auto/Diesel Technician and Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Josiah's passion was being an Auto/Diesel Technician and Heavy Equipment Mechanic and opening up his business, Sidewinder Machine Solutions LLC. He loved the NABI Baseball (Native American Baseball Invitational), the Rhinos.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Ervin Lee John.
Josiah is survived by his partner Ashley Deshnod, daughter Addison Jim, parents Surrina (Henderson) Whitehorse, and Julius Jim, brothers Shane Whitehorse and Jeremiah Jim, sister Shantelique (Tyrell) Jack, and grandparents Mary T. Begay, Hugh and Leanna Jim.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday December 22, 2025, at Farmington Funeral Home. Officiated by Pastor Mark Makle. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A reception will be held after at 1:30 PM at Nenahnezad Chapter in Fruitland, NM.
Pallbearers are Tyrell Jack, Darnell Henderson, Denzel Henderson, Farrell Tom, Shane Whitehorse, and Ernest Sanisya.
