Justin Joel Jeremiah Valencia

Justin Joel Jeremiah Valencia, age 33, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on July 16, 2025. Justin was born on February 14, 1992, in Durango, Colorado, to Donny Sr. and Machell Valencia.

The world is less bright without Justin in it. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help without asking for anything in return. Justin was extremely family-oriented, and being a dad was always his priority. He enjoyed many activities, such as golfing, fishing, being a DJ, and many others—as long as he was surrounded by friends and family.

These past few days since Justin’s passing, it has become clear that he touched so many people in his 33 years with his love language of acts of service. Everyone who has reached out has had nothing but kind and amazing things to say about him. With his passing, we will remember the impact he left on each of our hearts—it will last a lifetime.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents Pete Valencia, Silviano Talamante, Rae Dean Worman, Tommy Lee Worman, and his mother-in-law, Crystal Schmidt.

He is survived by his wife, Summer Valencia; his children, Bella, Emmy, and Carter; his parents, Donny Sr. and Machell Valencia; his sister, Amanda (Pete Jr.) Torrez; his brothers, Julian and Donny Jr.; his grandmother, Marcy Valencia; his father-in-law, Mike Thiessen Sr.; and his nieces and nephews: Noah, Martina, Asa, Madisyn, Stetson, Brasyn, and Delaney.

Pallbearers will be Donny Valencia Sr., Pete Torrez Jr., Julian Valencia, Donny Valencia Jr., Trey Saddler, and Miguel Perez.

Services for Justin will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Word of Life Christian Church, 1500 N. Fairview Ave, Farmington, NM 87401. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM, with services following at 5:30 PM.

Burial is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave, Farmington, NM 87401.
