Kris Slade, 68, of Farmington, NM passed away on June 21, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1958, in Denver, CO. 

Kris will be remembered for loving and following Jesus. He loved his family and friends greatly. Kris worked at Target for 6 years. He will always be known as "Dad Joke guy" and Top Hat man during Christmas time. Kris was a simple man he loved his music, good beer, good toke, gardening, and building things. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Glenda Clark and Henry Slade, and brother Tim Slade. 

Kris is survived by his loving wife Linda Yager, sons Jarod and Jacod Slade, daughter Sarah Slade, and sister Kim Britt. 

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 30, 2026, at Desert Heights Church.
