Linda Crabtree

Linda B. Crabtree, 73, of Farmington passed away on April 15, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with kidney disease caused by ANCA Vasculitis and the complications that followed. Linda was born on December 10, 1951, in Helena, Montana, to her parents, Bobbie and Glenn Goss. Linda moved to Farmington in 1968 and graduated from FHS in 1970. She attended Fort Lewis College in Durango before marrying Reggie Crabtree in 1972.

She dedicated 35 years of her career to the Farmington Schools; first volunteering at Northeast, Hermosa, and FHS before moving to Mesa View. She then moved to Piedra Vista in 1998 where she spent 20 years as the secretary in the athletic department. She was a bright light and touched so many lives along the way. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandkids, baking and cooking, supporting youth education and athletics, and spoiling everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice and Robert Pratt, her parents, Bobbie and Glenn Goss, and her brother, Gary Goss.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Reggie Crabtree, her son Greg Crabtree (Darline Espinoza) of Farmington, daughter Lindsey Ward (Tell Ward) of Farmington, her brother, Larry Goss of Tucson, AZ, her grandchildren, Melea Crabtree, Madison Espinoza, Ava Ward, and Owen Ward and her nieces and nephews.

With a smile and a hug that could light up any room and her motherly nature, you just couldn't resist her contagious happiness. To say she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend is an understatement.

A memorial service will be held at Farmington Funeral Home at 2:00 on Saturday, April 26th. A reception and meal will follow from 4:00 - 6:00 at Linda and Reggie's home.
