Lloyd Dwayne Griffith

Lloyd Dwayne Griffith, 61, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on February 18, 2024, in Kirtland, New Mexico. Dwayne was born on August 15, 1962, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to parents Lloyd Dee & Diana Rose Griffith (Steiner).

Dwayne was a person who enjoyed reading a very good book, he enjoyed the sixties, and the seventies music genres. His siblings would say he had the best record collection they had ever seen.  

Dwayne loved animals and was a free spirit and avid traveler and enjoyed going and staying in different places, most of the family were happy to hear of the different stories of his travels. Dwayne was a smart traveler, taking odd jobs to fund his travels when needed. He would always give his books to a friend that had never read that book before. He enjoyed a life free of possessions and attachments. Life to Dwayne was doing whatever his heart desired. Our family would always say:” That’s just our crazy brother”.  He worked all along the Eastern Coast for a roofing contractor. He always talked of and hoped for the best. We appreciated that most of him.
