Logan Gallegos

December 6, 1982 — March 31, 2024

Logan Gallegos, 41, of Bloomfield, our beloved father, brother, godson, uncle, nephew, cousin, coach, and friend, entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and best friends. Logan was born on December 6th, 1982, in Farmington, NM to Lenny Gallegos and Lisa Goode. He is preceded in death by his father, Lenny Gallegos; paternal grandparents, Simon Gallegos and Frances "Chica" Gonzales-Gallegos; aunt and uncle, Jeanette and Fidel Saiz Jr.; cousin, Juan Diego Martinez; and loyal dog, Russell Wilson.

Logan was a wonderful father to Annalisa, Sophia, Lincoln, and Kameron Gallegos. He was an amazing brother to Mariah (Joel) Gallegos, Garret (Ariana) Gallegos, Krystal (Luke) Valdez, Keyla Hall, Jordan Murray, Miranda (Alejandro) Suarez, and Rylee McCoy. Logan is survived by stepmother; Tina Gallegos, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 aunts, 7 uncles, 22 first cousins, and 27 second cousins.

Logan was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomfield. He pursued a 20 year career in the Oil and Gas Industry. He was currently employed by Quad Co that welcomed him with open arms with the little time he worked there.

Logan was an active member of the Bloomfield community. He sat on the board for the Bloomfield Youth Baseball League, later becoming president. Logan coached an award winning baseball team called the Bloomfield Angels, which was passed down to him from their original coach, his dad, Lenny. He also coached softball, basketball, wrestling, and football to his daughters Annalisa and Sophia, son Lincoln, and many children of the Bloomfield community. Logan was very passionate when he coached, making him stand out even more than being a 6'4" big guy standing on the sidelines or barely fitting into the dugouts. He currently was announcing the Friday night Bloomfield High School Football games which was a passion of his.

Big Guy, that's what Logan was to his family, friends, and anyone he came across. He gave the biggest hugs you didn't know you needed and offered solid advice and words of wisdom when you were down. Logan was strong minded and strong willed. He remained strong till the very end! Logan was a very family oriented person. He had his family's love and support surrounding him until his last breath.

Logan, you will forever be in our hearts. There won't be a day that goes by that your beautiful smile, whittiness, support, love, and much needed bear hugs won't be missed! Till we meet again, fly high my brother, fly high.

A Rosary will begin at 11:30 a.m. on April 18th, 2024 following a Mass Christian Burial beginning at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18th, 2024. Location will be at Bloomfield St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Jim and Father Francis as celebrants. Interment will be to follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Blanco.
