Obituary

Louise Irene (Davidson) Estep walked with her Lord and Savior into heaven on July 9th, 2026, at the age of 101 in Farmington NM surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl Almore Estep after 70 years of marriage. Her son, Steven Almore Estep. Parents, Homer and Hattie (Elmore) Davidson of Elk City, Kansas. Sisters, Coralea Cranz (Brick), Helen Snyder (Rex), Francis Overfield (Carl), Laberta Armstrong (Ralph). Brother, RayDean Davidson.

Louise had a long, satisfying life growing up in Elk City Kansas and marrying her high school sweetheart, Carl Estep, on July 3rd, 1943, prior to him joining the war. Louise relocated to Elk City from New Orleans while Carl was gone. She found her life and career there in banking. Retiring in the early eighties. She was active in the American Banking Women's Association, Pilot Club, Meals on Wheels, and the First Presbyterian Women's Group. And she loved to journal among her many hobbies. Later, Louise and Carl traveled for many years in their motor home. Through the years her warm smile and warmer personality left her with many friends.

Louise is survived by her daughter Nancy Robinson (Ken). Sister, Martha Jo Hase. Grandsons, Brent Estep (Julie), Travis Robinson (Kassie), Ryan Robinson (Krissy), Christopher Estep (Felicia). Several great and great great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 865 North Dustin Avenue, Farmington, NM on August 15th at 2:00pm.
