Lynda Mae Maestas Archuleta passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 19, 2022, at the young age of 58 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was born on October 20, 1963, in Cortez, Colorado to Solomon and Rose Maestas. She married the love of her life Max Archuleta in 1980. She loved God, her husband, and her family. She spent most of her years doing what she loved most which was working with children at Farmington Municipal Schools. Her second favorite job was working for the City of Farmington. She liked donating her time to the community by coaching cheerleading at the Farmington Boys & Girls Club and being a D.A.R.E. teacher for the students at McCormick Elementary. She was a beautiful, kindhearted, virtuous woman. During her 30 year stand with The WAY Ministry as a coordinator/assistant coordinator, she brought many people to God and his precious word.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sister. She is survived by her husband, Max Archuleta, her children; Joseph, Jeremey (Latimmya), Jacob, and Robyn Archuleta. Lynda had five grandsons: Josiah, DeAngelo, Nehemiah, Emelio, and Elijah, three granddaughters Mariah, Ciara, and Vanessa. She also leaves behind two sisters, Jeannie, and Rose and two brothers, Tommy, Herman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Lynda will be deeply missed by all, but her memories will live in our hearts FOREVER.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 26th at Cedar Grove Cemetery located in Mancos, Colorado at 1:00pm with Dinner in Farmington, New Mexico to follow at 4:00pm
