Mary Evalyn Dwyer

Mary Evalyn Dwyer, age 68 of Flora View, New Mexico passed away on Friday February 13, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1957, in Springfield, Illinois to Robert Ray Conner and Carol Jean Conner.

Throughout her years she worked for Pearl Vision, operated Ride Simulators which in turn allowed her to travel to new places, eventually slowing down and going into Aztec Schools. She loved her family dearly; she was the best mom anyone could ever ask for. She always made sure her children were taken care of no matter the sacrifice. She was always there to pick us up when we were down, to encourage us when we wanted to give up, and to root us on and praise us for our accomplishments. She loved road trips, family gatherings, and gardening. She loved her work as a kitchen manager for Aztec Schools, where she cared for students and staff with dedication and pride. She also had a special fondness for elephants and built a cherished collection over the years, each piece reflecting her gentle spirit and the things she loved most. She was a deeply loving person whose warmth touched everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carol Conner, her sister Marlene Willits and grandparents, Louis Slusser, Eva Slusser, Charles Conner and Mary Lean Wilder.

Mary is survived by her son: Sam Dwyer, Daughters; Saira Arnold and Danita Conner. Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great -Great Grandchildren: Silas Pickell, Layla Pickell, Kieryn Conner-Roberts, Emily Johnson, Christian Miller, Ranger Arnold, Orion Sather, Emerson Pickell and Taylor Johnson. Her brother and sisters: Chuck Conner, Theresa Simpson and Serena Conner.

Per Mary's request cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.
